Converge Youth Net is a resource to youth workers within the
ministry network of Converge Worldwide (formerly the BGC). We exist to
reach the next generation by Connecting, Igniting and Transforming
emerging youth leaders. We do this by:
- Promoting coaching and mentoring relationships
- Developing local networks of youth leaders and workers
- Providing counsel and resources for your ministry
- Training leaders to meet their needs in context.
In light of the critical need to reach and disciple the youth in our
nation, the mission of Converge Worldwide Youth Ministries is to
develop a coaching network (YNet) that will help develop the next
generation of youth pastors and leaders in order to reach and transform
the next generation of students.
In 2009-2010 we are:
- Developing a monthly youth ministry e-letter for youth pastors and youth leaders.
- Developing a companion monthly e-letter for senior pastors to aid in strengthening staff relationships.
- Determining the feasibility of week-long or weekend leadership development retreats/camps for high school students.
- Provide leadership development opportunities for youth pastors and leaders.
